I'm not use to speaking about life here in Brittany. But, sometimes we need to defend our rights. And now, the french politicians have decided to close our hospital here, in central Brittany, Carhaix. Our determination will be strong, activists, yes, of course ! We live here. Hearing the f***** politicians from Paris, that we do not exist; they closed courts, and will try to install tollgates on our roads; no more !
And ”We won’t leave until we get a positive answer. We’ll only leave when they point bayonnets at our backs.” as said the mayor. You can read more here. Then, words come to my voice :
"Mod-se eo,
mod-se chomo,
biken, biskoazh,
Morse ne cheñcho,
hag ur wech c'hoazh,
'Chomimp bev !"
Tomorrow, we're celebrating 30 years of Diwan Breton schools in Carhaix; so, it will be a good occasion to improve those new lyrics. I will sing this new song for the fist time (and another brand new); my friend Gil Kersulec will record also for the cd live project. It's a great challenge, but I am finding it a lot of fun and challenging. Fingers crossed.
Right on! If there is anything I can do, let me know!

I just wish my Breton was half as good as your English!!! You totally rock.
Thanks Byron. I 'm not sure my english is better than your breton. It's always amazing to meet english speakers involved in our natives.

It is all about this new EU taking over. Small cultures and traditions like yours and mine will be washed away for ever.
